Amts- und Landgericht
The Duisburg Local and Regional Court consists of two distinct buildings. The older brick building with its bright main facade extends along the Königstrasse.
Stadtwerke-Turm (Public utilities tower)
The central chimney of the public utilities in Hochfeld is a conspicuous figure on the Duisburg skyline. It consists of a rectangular lower tier of reinforced concrete, in which three flue gas pipes, of lattice work 700 tons in weight, are anchored.
Tec-Center
TECTRUM - Technology Centre for Duisburg
The Tec-Center is TECTRUM's latest building in Neudorf and this is where new technology companies can find laboratory, workshop and office space. The premises can be flexibly adapted to fit companies' needs.
Silver Palace
The headquarters of Klöckner Holding, previously known as 'Silberburg' (Silver Castle) thanks to its imposing architecture, still catches the eye in the north-western part of Neudorf.
Rathaus (The City Hall)
The City Hall stands, on ground steeped in history, on the Burgplatz. It was here that the Königspfalz stood in the early Middle Ages. In the plan of the city of Johannes Corputius (1566) the Rathaus is shown as a modest building.
Rhine bridges
The history of bridge-building in Duisburg begins at the end of the 19th century. Up to that time, anyone who wished to cross the Rhine dry-shod had to use the ferry. The first of what today are seven permanent connections was built in 1874 as a railway and pedestrian bridge between Hochfeld and Rheinhausen.
Central Station
When the Duisburg Central Station was opened in 1934, it had one of the most modern passenger buildings of its time. Its facade is given its character from dark clinker.
Dreigiebelhaus (Three-Gable House)
The 'Dreigiebelhaus' (Three-Gable-House), which gets its name from its adornment of three stepped gables, is a historic jewel. It is the oldest still preserved dwelling-house in Duisburg.
Tectrum
The Technology Centre for Duisburg, known in short as TECTRUM, is intended not only as an architectural symbol of the structural change in Duisburg's economic history - i.e. from heavy industry to innovative businesses - but in terms of its content is also seen as a driving force for those changes.
Tec-Tower

The building which the people of Duisburg know by the pet name of 'Rundling' (because of its round shape) is officially called 'Tec-Tower'.
